Your voice.
Unfiltered.

Big ideas.
A personal space.

Obsidian Studios is a home recording studio with a focus on rap and R&B. A place for the verses, melodies, and ideas that deserve to make it beyond the voice memo.

Bring your sound. Let’s put it on record.

It started in a closet.

I’m the sole owner and engineer behind Obsidian Studios. I’ve been recording and making music for well over a decade, but it started as a teenager with budget equipment from Amazon, a closet for a booth, and a sock over my microphone—doing whatever I could to get a cleaner sound.

Before long, I was recording my friends’ songs. That grew into a small local rap group, and we built a little buzz along the way. Those early sessions taught me how much I loved both sides of the process: making music and helping someone else bring theirs to life.

I’ve kept building on that foundation ever since. Every session has sharpened my ear, deepened my technical knowledge, and helped me work more efficiently. I’ve been making beats just as long, with well over 1,000 produced throughout my career.

Obsidian Studios is the next chapter of that same story. The equipment has changed, but the drive is still the same: keep getting better and make music that feels true to the artist.
